Statement of Faith

Simple, Clear, and Straightforward.....Cowboy  style.

We believe that God eternally exists in three persons—the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit who all have complete unity and distinctness, nature and personality and work in perfect Oneness. We believe Jesus to be the Son of God and the one who, as fully human and fully divine, gave his life as the ultimate expression of love. This life, death and resurrection paved the way for humans to enter heaven. We believe the Holy Spirit to indwell all true Believers. He inspires, convicts, encourages and guides us. We believe the Father to be the Ultimate Holy Sovereign Benevolent and Just Ruler, Creator of everything that has, is or will be. We believe that the true God is the God of the Bible.

The Scriptures

We believe that "all Scripture is given by inspiration of God,” and is our source for faith and living. We believe the scriptures to be, what is commonly known as the Bible.

Man

We believe that man is created in the image God, and that he expressed volitional independence from God and is now in need of a Redeemer.

Redemption

We believe that, because of the separation and death through volitional independence, no one can enter the heaven unless born again. We believe that the new birth of the believer comes only through faith in the work of Jesus, God’s Son. We believe that accepting Jesus’ work for us is the only way to redemption and that no amount of efforts, goodness or piety can improve the work that Jesus accomplished. We believe that no human is beyond the grace of God and salvation is generously available to all who humble themselves and accept the work of Jesus on their behalf.

The Church

We believe that all Believers in Christ are members of the church. Unity of true Believers is paramount to living the life that God hopes we will live.

The Commandments

We believe the foremost commandment to be summed up by Jesus himself when He said, in short, to “Love God and love our neighbor”. Sin is therefore viewed primarily as a “failure to love”.

Eternity

We believe that, Christians will live in the peace and joy of being in the presence of God for eternity. Those who do not know Christ will spend eternity outside of His presence. We believe those who are living or have died without knowing about Christ’s work of redemption, are in the hands of a just and kind God.
